ZEMCLARKE DESIGNS

The series is based on the unlawful killings of African Americans in the U.S.A. Each campaign poster features the victims that have faced police brutality through misinterpreted circumstances. The concept expresses her thoughts through the design - solid monochrome halftone prints, the images represents a crime scene investigation featuring collective evidence gathered from the scene or items that have been pin pointed, with the hashtag “BLM” (Black Lives Matter). This work was Influenced by the campaign movement, which begun in 2012.
